How to dress like a swedish teen? what do they usually wear and act like? |
:D.. I just became a comedian.. ah anyway you can always go for the "fjortis" style. It's a national plague, but many ppl like the style nonetheless.. especially foreigners. Found a link on another question that.. explains it.. sort of. Though the one who made the clip loves fjortisar.. embarrassing.

Has anyone here seen the Swedish lesbian teen-romance film "Show Me Love"? The info on it is here:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_Me_Lov…
It's a really sweet movie, and I loved it! )))
I was just wondering if any of my LGBT friends have seen it as well )))
Oh, and I have this movie! So Message me and I'll send it to you! ) |
Omgaaaaawd.
That was so totally uber...
I would give it about, eh, 7 or 8 out of 10.
Elin was my favorite character. I dunno why.
Prolly the kinda chick I would want. ;D
Er, I would probably be Agnes.
Shy and kept to myself. But she's a sweetheart. <3
I think the ending was uber!! Especially the bathroom scene thingy. And when she walked out, "Out of the way, we're going to go fxck."
I thought that was so f'in cute. And Agnes...At the very end when she laughed. <3
Ah, I loved it!

thanks a lot =)
sorry for my english =)
im venezuelan , but i live in russia |
Dude, us Swedes are drunks!
Many times I've traveled to Estonia for the weekend just to get drunk because yes, the taxes on alcohol are way too high and it's expensive.
Not many teens drink though, they mostly wait until they're 18. And drugs, well no. Swedes frown upon drugs and it's associated with foreigners. |
What type of massage would be good for a teen athlete? What type of massage would you recommend for a teen athlete that will not leave them sore? Sports massage? aromatherapy? swedish massage? shiatsu?
Which will relax and give the most feeling of well being without soreness for a first time massage recipient? |
| I recommend you a Classical massage for relieve physical and emotional strain, relax different muscles. Classical Massage improves physical health and relieves tiredness. I think it is best for You. |
Does teen pregnancy and religion go hand in hand? "The United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the western world, despite the fact that our teens are not more sexually active than Swedish teens, or Canadian teens, or British teens."
www.coolnurse.com/teen_pregnancy_…
While keeping this in mind, remember that the United States is one of the most religious nations out of the developed countries.
"Among "developed nations", the US is one of the most religious. According to a 2002 study by the Pew Global Attitudes Project, the US was the only developed nation in the survey where a majority of citizens reported that religion played a "very important" role in their lives, an attitude similar to that found in its neighbors in Latin America."
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in…
So, looking at this info, does Christianity, or even religion for that matter, play a role in teen pregnancy rates? I guess "abstinence" eduction doesn't work as well as some people think. |
That and other social ills:
"However, a study published in the Journal of Religion and Society, an American academic journal, set out to test this hypothesis and found there is an inverse relationship between religiosity and public health and social stability. The study, "Cross-National Correlations of Quantifiable Societal Health with Popular Religiosity and Secularism in the Prosperous Democracies", compared social indicators such as murder rates, abortion, suicide and teenage pregnancy using data from the International Social Survey Program, Gallup and other research bodies.

"In general," writes the author, Gregory Paul, "higher rates of belief in and worship of a creator correlate with higher rates of homicide, juvenile and early adult mortality, STD infection rates, teen pregnancy and abortion in the prosperous democracies."
A striking example of this is the US, which has the highest degrees of religious faith and the highest rates of homicide, abortion, STD infection and teenage pregnancy. The least religious countries - Japan, France and Scandinavia - have the lowest rates of violent crime, juvenile mortality and abortion."

Swedes: Do you think having a royal family is pointless? Many Swedish teens that I talk to think that it's pointless, and I agree. However, I think that the queen is great in that she is real active with guys that have disabilities, but I don't see why the country needs people to "represent" it. What're your thoughts on the matter? |
Yes, I do think it's quite pointless.
But the thing is,
we don't know much about them...
We swedish teens, and many adults, doesn't even know what the King and Queen does.
I have read once about Silvia supporting Rädda Barnen/Save the Guyren, but I think that's it.
They should probably be more "obvious".. I've never liked the royal family and to me they will be pointless until they show us what they actually do for Sweden and the rest of the world.
I'm sure they are doing good things but well... since many swedes doesn't even know about it
and because of lack of knowledge
they get disliked.
They would probably get more respect if we knew more about them.
Even my mum think they are pointless... maybe because she knows nothing about politics and stuff, dunno. |
Is red bull dangerous when mixed with alcoholic drinks? ..such as vodka.. i heard a story of a Swedish teen who died because of that. I also heard a teen basketball player died after drinking three cans of it.... |
ALL energy drinks by themselves are dangerous!
I personally know someone that had to be taken to the hospital E.R. after drinking a single can.
Why would you even ask about mixing one with alcohol in the Non-Alcoholic Drinks section? |
